This was a strenuous walk with a lovely section up the Nedd Fechan,

then an ascent up Fan Fraith and Fan Gyhirych,

a long descent to the dismantled tramway and quarries near the caving centre,

and finally returning across the Ogof Ffynon Ddu Nature Reserve.
