Paul do Mar & Jardim do Mar

This walk was chosen as a complete change from our first walk,

and it was quite a strenuous coast walk.

First we went down a very steep valley on an incredible cobbled path,

to the attractive village of Paul do Mar.

There we had to wait 3 hours for the tide to go out sufficiently

to walk or clamber along the boulder-strewn beach to Jardim do Mar.

We still got wet feet!

Then there was another very steep ascent on a beautiful path,

to return to our parking in Prazeres.
