What a beautiful day, and this area is somehow special on days like this,

even if you have to be careful to avoid the boggy bits and too much forestry.

We parked in Cymmer and walked up Cwm Cregan towards the wind farm,

after which we dropped down into the Pelenna Valley,

checked out the stone structure shown in the photos,

before making our way back past the Nant-y-bar ruins
