The forecast rain or snow coming in, parked the car by the river at Risca,

achieved a lovely walk via part of the Raven Walk up to the top of Twmbarlwm,

descending from Mynydd Henllys to Pant-yr-eos Reservoir

and returning past the Fernlea quarry to Risca.

I only took photographs after we had descended as it was too cold on the tops!
