A very dull day with rain forecast in many areas, we parked near Gordano services.

We passed old iron works in pretty woodland and Failand House,

used parts of the Gordarno Round, which was very muddy,

went through Fish Pond Wood, Abbots Leigh, & Leigh Woods,

and then followed the Avon Trail close to the river, to complete the circuit.

We even saw a display of daffodils fully in flower.
