Where to go when a beautiful day presents itself?

No disappointment on this walk starting from Elan Village,

and never being far from views across the reservoirs.

We tried new routes,

and the track up the Afon Claerwen had a wonderfully remote atmosphere,

inluding the old Welsh longhouse which has been restored as 2 holiday lets.
