Blakeney

This was a good place to come on a day with no chance of the mist lifting.

The original idea was to do a circular walk including the Purton North of the Severn,

opposite the Purton on the South,

but in the end it was all North of Blakeney at the edge of the Forest of Dean,

exploring all the small lanes shown on the map, many of which seemed to be

either not used and overgrown, or even blocked and considered the private property of residents,

although the map and past usage indicated otherwise.
