Abersychan to Blaenavon

13th Sept 2016

The planned walk was aborted due to thunder and lightning, and then persistent rain.

We reached the top of the hill before it started,

then took the nearest road back to the valley and followed a trail

along the disused railway line as far as Blaenavon,

and spent the rest of the afternoon in the Visitor Centre before returning by bus.

In spite of the rain it was an enjoyable day

After passing the British near Abersychan it was too wet to take photos.
