Maerdy

A cloudy but dry day, we walked North from Maerdy up the Rhondda Fach to the reservoir,

then onto Mynydd Maerdy, crossing over to the Western edge, overlooking Treorchy.

A short stretch of forest, and then descended a very striking track towards Pentre,

before crossing back over the mountain to a lovely path into Ferndale,

finally following the river North again to return.
