This walk was planned to take advantage of the autumn colours,
and it was a continuous display from beginning to end,
combined with extensive views towards Ferndale, followed by Cwmaman,
the Brecon Beacons, the Cynon Valley, and even South as far as the Bristol Channel.
It was a circular walk around the Aberaman Forest and St Gwynno Forest.
