Brecon Beacons

 13th Dec 2014

This day was a cold bright sunny day, no rain, and only light winds, a perfect day to go to the mountains.

We started by walking down the Blaen-y-glyn waterfalls to reach the Caerfanell,

where there was a whole series of falls.

We then climbed steeply onto the high ground to follow the escarpment which leads towards Carn Pica.

After that we headed West on the Northern escarpment until we reache Fan-y-big,

and then descended South on what has always been known as the old Roman road (but isn't),

and followed the Taff trail back to the car park where we started.
