Crasswall

After a whole week of heavy rain we were lucky to have a fine day.

It was a varied walk through lovely rural countryside, past ruined farms

and along ridges with views of the Black Mountains.

We stopped at the ruins of Crasswall Grandmontine Priory for lunch,

and walked past Crasswall's 15th century church before a delightful but wet river section.
