First we walked through Beech woods to Ceft Cwrt Reservoir,

then walked some lovely country lanes full of wild flowers,

then did a circuit of Mynydd Dinas, overlooking the Afan Valley and then the coast.

It was a very warm humid day, with the threat of rain which never quite materialized.
