Llangynidr

12th March 2013

We started byfollowing the canal, and then the Usk Valley Walk at the foot of Tor-y-foel,

then turned North towards Talybont, past an impressive hill fort and through Craig Danywenalltto and onto the TaffTrail.

At Talybont we had some road walking, before following an attractive path up to Craig yr Esgair,

with it's commanding vies across Llangorse Lake and mountains in every direction.

We descended and followed Roman Road into Bwlch, before taking an excellent track around Buckland Hill.

Finally we walked over the well-known stone bridge at Llangynidr, and took a river path back to the car
