Still lovely spring colours.
Starting along the canal,
then through fields to Llanfeugan Church

The church dates from 1272
|
A 22ft diameter ancient yew to the east of the church which is obviously of great age
|
climbing up Gist Wen to the top of Bryn & lunch on the top
and along Graig Fan Las |
|
|
Descending to the Blaen-y-glyn car park, |
|
|
before going up again past the Blaen y glyn waterfalls |
|
|
up the valley |
|
|
|
a very steep climb to Allt Forgan, with a sudden storm brewing |
On the top just before the lightning struck |
and back along the Allt Lwyd ridge to Talybont reservoir Hurrying down after the storm

and crossing the dam to finish along the Taff trail.
